Launching our new website for Forgotten Australians
On behalf of the Open Place team, I’m proud to formally launch our new website for service users, community members and stakeholders.
The aim of the site is to provide up-to-date information and resources that will enhance accessibility for our service users and stakeholders, and be one of the mechanisms that ensure our services remain responsive, relevant and open to your needs and ideas.
The new design was informed by a scoping and development project that identified the need for the website to:
- be more accessible for users
- have a contemporary and welcoming design
- be mobile-responsive
- contain updated information which is clear and relevant to service users and stakeholders.
This launch coincides with the 2-year anniversary of Relationships Australia Victoria’s (RAV’s) operation of Open Place and follows the launch of RAV’s new website in late 2021, which includes information about Open Place and a link to this website. Together, the 2 websites are designed to enable Open Place users to find out about and access the Open Place service more easily.
Our hope is that the new design and functionality will strengthen how we connect with Forgotten Australians and other stakeholders.
We encourage users to explore the new website and access our comprehensive resource library, and our news and events sections for Open Place service updates and upcoming activities.
If you have any questions or feedback about the new website, we invite you to contact us.
